H 2 the Oh

I love water. Love water. It’s literally my number one favorite beverage. But even I get sick of just plain water.

Lets face it. Water is the number one thing that we should be drinking, and there are people out there (like Josh) who HATES water. I swear he’d rather dehydrate than drink water…haha (his response was far more colorful).

There is juice, pop, mochas, milk, sports drinks, alcohol, “muscle milk”, teas…and all that bottled crap that is taking away from the simplicity of a nice glass of water.

Aside from milk (which is of course essential) you aren’t really getting much out of it except fake and processed ingredients (not to mention empty calories).

I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I only drink water…I guilty of loving Sobe Zero and diet coke…. but I wanted to share some ideas for beverages that aren’t going to kill your calorie intake (and quite a bit healthier than soda).

Lets figure this. Josh is in LOVE with Dr. Pepper. He can blaze through about 6 20oz bottles a day, easy….

250 cals in 20oz = 1500

Just in DP he drinks more than I eat. Lol.

That doesn’t count sugar in his coffee, or powerade…. JUST DP.

He’s lucky he has a fast metabolism.

That kind of stuff isn’t going to help someone who is trying to count calories. Just be cautious with EVERYTHING you are putting in your mouth.

And make sure you get enough water in!

Bad Week

I’ve been incredibly naughty this past week. Lol.

Landon turned 4 last Tuesday…holy crap I feel old.

So since then it’s just been bad choice after bad choice.

I KNOW I haven’t been eating well…. but I’ve been having the strangest cravings. No bake cookies, Reese cups, sugar cookies, pb cookie dough…. name it and I want it.

Which usually isn’t a problem…if I want it…then I eat it. I refuse to deny myself food… I usually just have enough control to not eat a whole helluva lot of it. Which I failed this week.

So the scale reads 195. Not too sure how accurate that is since it is TTotM, so I know I’m bloating. Honestly, though. I have a feeling it’s gonna be another 193 weigh in day. Darn. Btw, sry guys out there for the girl talk

No one to blame but me, honestly.

Doesn’t help we have 3 kids in the house right now. It’s hard enough to get out to jog with one kid. I have a newfound respect for people who try to lose weight with 3 kids full time.

It’s so hard because Josh and I want to do the jogging together…so there is no way to do that together….can’t leave them in the house alone…and taking them with is a big NO GO.

Though we did get some punching mitts and gloves at a garage sale… we can do that.

I’m not too sure where my motivation went to. I went from losing a good 6 pounds in 2 weeks in December…. to bouncing around from 194-190 repeatedly.

So yeah, a little discouraged to say the least…. but it’s happened before…a million times actually.

At least I’m not gaining 10 pounds, you know? I don’t doubt that I’ve gained some weight…2 or 3 pounds…. but I can lose those.

So… I feel like I’m starting from square one. Lol.

In a sense I am.
So. I’m setting a goal. I’m determined to weigh 188 by April 25. 6 pounds in 4 weeks.

I’m determined.

Yup. Lol.

EBAY

I found a pair of Jogging shoes that I adored at Dunhams. Neon Blue with Neon Pink swishes! They look like ^that… just brighter. I’ll upload a picture soon with my feet!!!!

Unfortunately they were $95.00….. No way that I am going to spend that much money. HAHAHA.

So I went to Ebay and was fishing around for shoes, and lo’ and behold I found them. Same kind….my size…. must have been fate.

So I snagged them up! I spent…. $17.32 on them!!!! WOOOT!

We also bought Josh a pair of Nikes… his are white with blue swishes…. got his for about $16.5

So we picked up two pairs of Nikes for $33.87

I am in LOVE with Ebay. So we got $150 worth of shoes for CHEAP AS HELL!!!

I’m all excited. They are specifically for jogging.

I really really really reccommend getting a pair of shoes like these. A good portion of them are actually mesh, so your toesies can breath…. I love that, then my feet won’t get sweaty. Lol.

So yeah, I’ve got my regular shoes, gym shoes, and jogging shoes

I’m a happy camper.

Doing pretty darned good

I know it’s only Saturday but I’ve been friggen awesome since Wednesday…don’t get me wrong, I’ve been doing awesome before then… But this past week I’ve just felt great.

For example… I worked, went to the gym, walked, and jogged…. so with I treated myself with McDonalds…. A BIG MAC!!!! With fries…. yummmmmm….. Even after all that crap, and Breakfast… I still would have had a deficient of OVER 1500…. I usually only try to shoot for 1000.

My stomach hurt from the fast food. I had a headache. But it was so friggen good. Lol.

Sometimes cravings make no sense. But oh well. After dinner I still had a definicent of 1150. So I KNOW I ate well past my calorie limits, but why not? Especially if I didn’t want that 1500 deficient.

But other than that… lol. I’ve been eating really well. I’ve been walking/jogging….doing home exercises…. and just in general I’ve been doing really good.

So I really want to see that magical 189 number… only ONE pound. Though, Ironically…. TTotM should be here on my next weigh in day.

Haha…. so my scale will probably read 193+ at least. Which sucks since I’m so darned close to the 180s…. and I’m not going to be able to see it this weigh in. Lol.

But oh well….. at least if the scale reads 194, I’ll know I’m about 189…. since I bloat about 5 pounds, lmao.

Grrrr…. go figure.

But I just hadn’t been on here in a while and I wanted to go ahead and be all giddy and happy for a moment.
